The Reception of Rome and the Construction of Western Homosexual

an international conference, Durham University, 16th-18th April 2012.
Confirmed speakers include: Matthew Fox (Glasgow), Ralph J. Hexter
(University of California, Davis), Caroline Vout (Cambridge), Craig
Williams (Brooklyn, CUNY), Gregory Woods (Nottingham Trent).
A limited number of bursaries, generously funded by the British Academy,
are available to graduate students enrolled on research degrees who wish
to attend the conference. These bursaries will cover accommodation only
for the duration of the conference (16th-18th April). Applicants should
send an email by February 29th 2012 to jennifer.ingleheart@durham.ac.uk
stating their reasons for wishing to attend the conference as well as
other funding options that are open to them. Priority will be given to
those applicants who have had papers accepted for delivery at the
conference, and the decision of the organising committee is final and
will be communicated via email by March 2nd 2012.
